The Seven
Deadly Sins

When the photographic team Baben-Cortez (Philip Baben der Erde
and Manuel Cortez) arrived in Berlin with their 2007 exhibition finally,
they invited Richard Wilhelmer to contribute to the vernissage with a
video-piece.

The Seven Deadly Sins is made of seven short clips that are all together following an overriding drama. In varied scenarios Wilhelmer abstracts actually banal settings and creates fantasy as well as he simplyfies great fantasies into very reduced moving images.
